Parzival: our hero, son of Gahmuret and Herzeloyde. He's young, he's handsome, he's clueless, and he takes everything literally. In his ignorance he will hurt many, but someday he will grow into a man worthy of the Holy Grail.
Gawan: our backup hero/comic relief, the son of Lot. His adventures take place while Parzival flounders about trying to right his wrongs and find his place with God.
Gahmuret: Parzival's father. His unquenchable thirst for adventure will lead to his downfall.
Belacane: Gahmuret's first wife, mother of Feirefiz.
Feirefiz: the mottled cat, Parzival's half brother. Did I mention that he's filthy rich?
Herzeloyde: Gahmuret's second wife, mother of Parzival. When her husband dies because of his battlelust, she decides to raise her son in ignorance of knighthood, his heritage, even his rightful name.
King Arthur: If you don't know King Arthur, you're living in a hole.
Jeschute: Wife of Duke Orilus, unintentionally disgraced by Parzival.
Orilus: a Duke and a suspicious husband.
Cundrie: the Sorceress. In a world where every woman is more beautiful than the last, she stands out a mile.
Gurnemanz: a learned man who trains Parzival in the ways of Chivalry.
Intonje: Gawan's little sister. She's the type of girl who, in modern times, would marry a guy she met over the Internet.
Gramoflanz: the type of guy who would marry a girl he met over the Internet, blame her brother for his father's death, and kill the husband of said brother's love interest.
Condwiramurs: the most beautiful in a world of beauties. She marries Parzival after he saves her kingdom from the beseiging army of an unwelcome suitor.
Orgeluse: the most beautiful woman in Gawan's eyes, despite the fact that her tongue can and will dice him into teeny tiny pieces.
Anfortas: the Angler, the Fisher King, current lord of the Holy Grail. Once he was a real lady-killer, the kind of guy whose brain lay between his legs. This didn't please God too much, who punished him with a curse. During a duel a lance stabbed and broke off shards in the aforementioned brain, which can only be healed if Parzival asks 'The Question.'
Repanse de Schoye: Anfortas's lovely sister, the only woman pure enough to carry the Holy Grail.
Ither: the owner of the Red Armor until he is killed by his ignorant relative Parzival in a duel.
Keie: King Arthur's bratty foster brother.

Deleted Characters
They were in the book, but in condensing the story I cut them out.

Cunneware: a relative of Orilus.
Trevrizent: A relative of Parzival (isn't everyone?) A monk who helps get Parzival's faith back on track.
Sigune: the tragically depressing relative of Parzival who pops up every now and then, dead husband in tow, to inform our naive hero of what he's done wrong lately.
Schionatulander: Sigune's dead husband. She likes to keep his corpse around to scare small children with. Or something.

Other
Armor, steeds and such.

Gringuljete: a horse in the book, but in my world he's a hover-type lancing bike!

The Red Armor: Parzival's trademark, the suit of armor won in his first duel.
Shield: a collapsable energy shield that is easily stored on a belt.
